One To One Lessons

I have always been a keen walker. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with degeneration of the spine in February 2011. This manifested itself as dreadful pain in my groin and knee.  Due to the pain I was experiencing I didn’t want to go out of the house. Fortunately, I was introduced to Sarah and Smart Pain Resolution, and after one session the pain in my groin left.

I was so impressed I travelled regularly from Omagh to Sligo [68 miles each way] where Sarah worked with me on how to release tension, breathe into my lower back, walk, and go up and down stairs: generally – how to use my body properly. Now I am back walking around without pain. Thanks to Sarah I recently [October 2016 and 2017] completed 11km charity walks.

I suffered back pain for years. Under Sarah’s assured and expert guidance I have learned how to use myself well in my daily life and help myself when I get into difficulty. I really wasn’t aware of how much tension I was holding on to.  I use the semi supine [constructive rest] every day and am looking for my “up” whenever I think of it! I have reduced my anti-inflammatory and pain medication to very occasional use, and now if I get a twinge I immediately think, “What am I doing to cause this?” Usually I resolve it immediately.
